Volunteer Opportunities

We offer a variety of volunteer roles to match your interests, skills, and availability:

Dog Care: Help with feeding, grooming, and exercising our dogs. Provide them with the love and attention they need to thrive.

Foster Homes: Open your home to a dog in need. Fostering provides a temporary, loving environment until a forever home is found.

Adoption Events: Assist at adoption events by setting up, greeting potential adopters, and helping showcase our dogs.

Fundraising and Outreach: Help plan and execute fundraising events, spread awareness about our mission, and engage with the community.

Transport: Assist with transporting dogs to and from veterinary appointments, foster homes, and adoption events.

Administrative Support: Provide behind-the-scenes support with tasks such as data entry, communications, and organizing supplies.

How to Get Started

Becoming a volunteer with IIDO is easy! Follow these simple steps to join our team:

Fill Out the Application: Complete our online volunteer application form here. Provide us with some basic information about yourself and your interests.

Attend Orientation: Join us for a volunteer orientation session to learn more about our mission, procedures, and how you can help.

Start Volunteering: Once you've completed orientation, you’ll be ready to start making a difference! We’ll work with you to find the volunteer role that best fits your skills and interests.
